Great coverage!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yay! This couldn't have come at a more perfect time! We are remodeling master bedroom, diy style. This Pro Block quick dry oil based primer was a life saver. A time saver too in my opinion, because if we had not have went with a primer first then we would have just had to paint extra color coats. Not to mention that if we would've tried out new paint color choice over our old one, the color would definitely not looked as it is supposed to. Plu...

Primes a variety of surfaces
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ProBlock Quick Dry Oil Based Interior Primer works good on multiple surfaces. It covers up stains and dark paint well. One coat is almost opaque, which saves me time in having to go over it with a second coat. I use this on projects painting wood and drywall. The scent isn't too overpowering, and with ventilation it's fine. It dries in about an hour, making it quick for me to go over it with paint. Overall, it's good quality.

Great coverage
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a quite extensive leak in my garage which left many stains in the ceiling. This primer did a good job covering all the stains and water damage in just one coat. It does have strong smell, however great coverage is more important than scent. Definitely recommend it to everyone.

What Spot?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok, so what I had was a water spot on the ceiling. I had already attempted to cover it with a couple of coats of name brand primer spray and, as you can see in the photo with it taped out, it was still visible. ProBlock QUICK DRY said it would block the toughest water stains and this one has been there for a couple of years before I moved in. I cracked it open and got to work. The smell is VERY STRONG. The product is thick, as you would expect ...

It's expensive but it works well too cover up tough stains and stuff on the walls that wouldn't be covered up with other primer paints. The smell isn't super bad either. It does also dry a lot faster than others as well. Cleanup is the same as with other paint products.

Adhesion
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a reliable workhorse for stain-heavy interiors, especially if you’re okay with the classic oil-based cleanup (mineral spirits, anyone?). Highly recommend for anyone prepping for a uniform finish—saved me from multiple recoats! If you’re sensitive to fumes, though, consider a latex

Try it and see for yourself
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently worked with the ProBlock Quick‑Dry Oil‑Based Interior Primer (roughly 3.72 L / 126 fl oz) and overall it feels like a dependable pick—there are real strengths, but some trade‑offs to be aware of. On the plus side, its adhesion is impressive: on semi‑gloss trim, old oil paint, clean drywall and stained wood—it really grips without needing insane sanding, which saved me a lot of prep. It also does a good job sealing out water stains, g...
