What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise these lag screws for exceptional holding power and reliable Torx drive design. Most highlight their strength in demanding applications—securing heavy beams, deck components, and TV mounts while withstanding extreme stress like 86 mph winds or 200 lbs weight without loosening. Reviewers commend the aggressive threads that bite easily, the star head design that prevents stripping when paired with an impact driver, and the large head that eliminates washer needs. Many report driving them straight through pressure-treated lumber without pre-drilling. A few note that proper tools and pilot holes in dense hardwood are essential for optimal performance. Overall, customers consider them highly reliable for structural applications.

Heads strip too often.
Would Not RecommendThere screw heads strip to easily. You cannot install them fully unless you are perfectly positioned to place consistent and hard pressure on them even with a hammer drill. I am returning the unused ones.
