Would RecommendI had to trim plastic from inside the base to fit onto my current mail box wooden platform. The product did not come with/include mounting screws so I was glad I saved screws from my old mailbox.
Works for our needs
Would RecommendBigger than standard size. We like the plastic as the salt during winter can eat away at the metal boxes. Our street is very busy and our previous plastic mailbox was struck several times by certain situations and help up well.
