Needs more apple and cherry like the title says
On the bag it says fruitwood. Well the amount of apple and cherry wood is minimal. Maple and oak is over powering. It’s not bad I just wish it had more apple at least.

Would RecommendThese pellets have a nice, soft smoke flavor that works well with poultry and pork. The only drawback observed is they produce less heat on my pellet smoker. If I need to achieve 250°F I have to set my smoker to 300°F. The Competition Blend is better for beef and holds closer to the setpoint.

Don’t buy pellets on clearance
Would Not RecommendBought these on clearance and used them on Thanksgiving. Big mistake. They didn’t burn right and I had smoke coming out of the hopper. Swapped them out with fresh ones from HEB and saved the holiday meal. Moral of the story: don’t buy pellets on clearance.
