Would Not RecommendI am a chopped wood smoker and I prefer pecan wood. I recently purchased a pellet feed smoker. Love the smoker, this “Pecan Blend” is just that. It doesn’t put off the smoke flavor that I’m used to with pecan wood.

Would RecommendThere's so many pellets out there to chose from and I constantly keep coming back to Pit Boss pellets. For the money, you can't beat it. The same bag for traeger is close to double the price and they perform just as well. The pellets burn cleanly and give off plenty of heat for your smoking needs. I've used the Applewood on pork, chicken and turkey and they all came out divine. I do wish the bag was resealable, but we just ended up getting a pellet storage container to make life easier.

Would Not RecommendI purchased four different species. They are all called a blend so I’d like to know what they are blended with. I would prefer that they be all of the species represented on the bag. The “blend” thing may be why I can’t seem to tell a difference in smoke or taste. They all seem the same. They burn well and smoke well.
