What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this seeding straw for effectively holding seed in place, preventing washaway from rain and wind, and accelerating germination through moisture retention. Many highlight the pre-chopped format as convenient and easy to spread without mess, noting a little goes a long way. Most find it reliable for lawn repair and spotty grass restoration. However, some report visible weed seed contamination leading to unwanted growth, and a few mention washaway during heavy rain. Despite these drawbacks, the vast majority consider it worthwhile for seeding projects.

Refresh your lawn using seed straw over seeds
Would RecommendI purchased this seed straw a few weeks ago to place over the seeds I planted on my lawn. The straw was durable and did the job to help get the bald spots to grow new grass. I recommend this product.

Solid Straw, Just a Little Pricey
Would RecommendIt's a bit overpriced compared to the local farm store, but way more convenient to order plastic wrapped and delivered with the grass seed. About the same volume as a bundle from the farm supply, but dinged a star for the price.
