Great product

Exactly what I Needed and it served the purpose.

Helped with germination

Product did help with germination of grass seed.. pulled it up after 3 weeks to get rid of straw look in our subdivision lawn. Just made first mowing of fescue afterwards.

Worked great to cover seeds for new grass, efficient and fast growth

poor quality product

purchased 4 rolls of the seed blanket. 2 were fine but 2 were horrible. The picture doesn't do it justice but there was not much straw on 2 out of the 4. Photo shows one bad and one good. They have been installed so we cant return them.

Hopefully it will work

My dog dug several holes in my backyard. I purchased 4 bags of flower - vegetable soil to fill the holes and covered the holes with the straw. Hopefully, to let grass grow over the holes.

Great price, great quality & quantity

This product was more than enough coverage for the front yard space that was needed. I am completely satisfied and would definitely recommend this product to a friend or family member.

issues with netting

Please don't waste your money on this item. Plain wheat straw would have been a much better alternative and a lot cheaper. Within 24 hours of laying this straw mat, we found 2 dead animals that got caught in it. We removed it and threw it away. This item presents a clear danger to wildlife.

Great Idea that Works

This product is just as described. Simple and neat, no mess, and easy and clean to transport. No pickup truck needed. It rolls out simply and even. I did use some left over sod steaks to help hold it down and it worked great. Not too thick so grass grows though quick. Plant seeds, roll out the hay and water.

Good product - no complaints except price.

This is a very good product - but a little pricey. I bought it because it is much easier to apply by yourself on hills (especially if you have back problems as I do) than a less expensive 8' roll.

Mesh netting dangerous to wildlife

The mesh netting has very little straw and is so strong that wildlife gets trapped. Just found a dead rat snake underneath the mesh where it got caught and died. Product biodegradability is definitely misrepresented.

50 foot straw roll

There is very little straw in this role. It’s mainly nylon mesh. Where is the straw?
