I would cut it in pieces with garden shears
Would RecommendEasy to work with. I had to replace about seven ten inch pieces of insulation. There was a little bag the size of cotton candy which would have required me to buy 7 of them at 10 dollars each. I got this whole roll instead for $40 and have over half left.

You get a good amount of coverage with the batts.

Would RecommendThe 2’ x 4’ batts are really easy to place and work with as opposed to rolled insulation. One thing that surprised me was how heavy a 10 batt package was. Not fun getting it into my attic.
