Good Product

Good instructions to get started. Larger saw and much quieter running than ones we have had before.

Great Saw

It did the job. Took my time with it and it cut thru some hard wood. It did what I needed.

Oregon Electric CS1500 Chainsaw

There is a defective link on the chainsaw chain. See my photo. This caused the chainsaw to jam up. I only got two cuts before this happened. Purchased online so I simply can't take it back and get another one right away. It seems to be very a powerful saw. Disappointing, I won't be able to clear my fallen tree as planned. I give it one star for Quality Inspection Failure.

What a saw!

This saw is great! I have used chainsaws for years and once worked for a tree service. Recently retired to Florida and gave away all my saws, then the hurricanes hit. This saw was so affordable and had great power. What a saw, it cuts beautifully. The only drawback is the cord and location of chain tensioner. This is why I purchased an electric saw, no gas. very easy to use

works much better than i thought was able to cut a 16" wide tree with ease very easy to use just need to remember to keep the cord on your shoulder so you don't cut it in half

A good value, but finicky chain function

Pros-saw is effective. I'm using it to cut some fallen trees that are frankly larger than it's designed to cut. It's powerful, but taxed to the limit with thick hardwood trees. It's reliable and the oiler and onboard sharpener are both well-designed and convenient. Cons-saw does not hold chain tension well. Abrupt chain speed changes (such as engaging/disengaging workpiece have a tendency to cause tension loss. Chain has a tendency to jump the bar at that point, and the process for remount...

Good electric chainsaw

Very good saw for the price. Nothing matches the power of a gas chainsaw, but it did cut through a 36" diameter fallen tree trunk. FYI, Electric saws tend to bind up more than gas.

Solid Electric Chainsaw

Electric chainsaws are great. Start up every time you hit the button, stop as soon as you release. Less noise, weight, and smell. The cord is a tradeoff as I can't use this saw everywhere on my property but it's great overall. Still use my gas saw for cutting down big trees. Chain oiler works better than some other electric saws I've used.

Handguard has chain brake feature.

Real Powerhouse

Easy to assemble/disassemble. Good documentation. Powerful cutting action. Haven't used long enough to need to use the built-in chain sharpener. Good value for the money.
