Find another style!!! These break too easily.

The tiny ports break VERY easily. I wouldn't choose this format if it weren't inherited with the house I bought.

Good product at a competitive price

I live in Las Vegas so having an efficient irrigation system is a must. My irrigation system was a mess. So I've replaced all the old multi port heads, both 2 and 4 port heads with new ones. I also replaced as needed the tubing and drippers. I got everything I needed at Lowes. The store is always clean, I can find what I need and the price with my military discount is very competitive.

Perfect for adding drip irrigation to a hard line system.

excellent 4 way

I have utilized similar and they are an excellent for roses or indivual plants that require water without getting leaves wet from sprinklers.

Broken Nipples Ouch

14 months after install, many of the nipples on manifolds snapped off. On closer inspection, all of the manifold nipples have changed color - original hospital green to pale off white. Every manifold (more than 20) in the front yard have this discoloration whether in shade or bright sun. Really a huge disappointment and a waste of my valuable time to replace....this is you job Orbit....the management of water. Some heads should roll in this company.

Product has Design Flaws - Plastic Deteriorates

I replaced my irrigation system in early 2017 and used about 50 2-port and 4-port Orbit manifolds. Ten of these broke while I was away for the summer in 2019 resulting in my water bill doubling over that period. There are two modes of failure. In about half the cases, the 90-degree green elbow was ejected from the black manifold cap. In the other half of the cases, the barbed nipple broke away from the 90-degree elbow. They work well.

These manifolds work great just don’t use too much muscle installing or they will break.

Cheap! 7 of 8 broke the first day. Dont buy.

After reading a few reviews exactly like mine, I thought “nah, should be fine”. I was wrong. The only one that didnt break was the extra I didnt instal. After the second zone test, all of these had cracks or leaks in the black base. Some low, so i thought I over tightened them but others were higher up. Seems like poor manufacturing. Find another product and/or spend a few extra bucks.

I have over a dozen of these that have not been touched since I installed them, almost everyone of them has broken at the nipple. Dont waste your money with these.

These break, don't buy

This barely lasted a month, then falters at the top where green meets black. Buy the 4 port instead, it's much better construction.

Do not recommend

I installed 9 of these to water fruit trees. Less than six months later the sun has caused them to be brittle and are easily breaking. They may be more worthwhile if they are protected from the sun. I also had issues with the unused ports leaking right after installing them. It took some moving around (the ports) and a couple exchanged heads before the install was complete. Unfortunately the toasty heads are still an issue, so I will be replacing them for anther type of drip.

1 nozzle blew out whole

One of the elbow nozzles blew clean out of the port when I turned on the water. Don't know what failed internally (?weak or missing compression ring?) that was inadequate in design or manufacturing process. Not even sure if worth the drive back to lowes to return.

Work as expected

I've purchased about a dozen of these and they work as expected. Great way to convert an existing irrigation system to either low volume irrigation or drip irrigation.

I bought one almost 3 months ago to put on one of my sprinkler head and connect it to two batches of drip tubes. It has been working perfectly so far.

I PURCHASED 16 OF THESE FOR MY GARDEN. AFTER INSTALLING THEM AND TURNING ON THE WATER, 14 OF THE 16 WERE SPLIT. THEY ARE NOT A GOOD PRODUCT AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM. IN THE PAST I HAVE USED THE OLDER STYLE WHICH I COULD NOT FIND AND HAD NO PROBLEM WITH THEM.
