male not female at bottom
Would RecommendI purchases these from the store. Unfortunately I forgot to check the threading at bottom. I specifically wanted these as these are listed as female but it is male (see photos). Have to go back to get couplings now.

Would RecommendWork good, but 2 of them (I installed 4) blew their nozzles off. Could be my water pressure, but i put on some spare nozzles I had and those are working just fine. Would buy again, would just put better nozzles on.
More than I bargained for
Would RecommendI bought this for a replacement to a back yard flower bed. I thought is was just an expensive alternative to the grey risers. This thing is really cool. The fact that you can telescope it up is fantastic. Right now I don’t need it to, but I had to replace a couple of bushes and when they get too tall down the road, I can raise this to water over them as needed

Would RecommendExcellent if you need an elevated spray head. Only draw backs I have noted is they seem to get broken more often than standard ground level heads and are more expensive. I have about 10 in use.

Good Idea, but ... cannot recommend it
Would Not RecommendI put these in a bed of bushes and like the available height. However, I cannot get them adjusted wrt to distance. The screw in the head adjust the pattern (0-360 deg.) but it sprays beyond the bed on the sidewalk and house.

When plants get too tall...
...near the sprinkler head, but you don't want to trim them, this product allows you to direct water over the top of them and reach farther-away plants as well. Great product; only heads-up is that it comes with a 15-ft (adjustable) nozzle. If you need something shorter than around 10 ft, then you will need to get one that fits...available @Lowes while you are there.
