Would Not RecommendThis box is a real pain compared to the others I’ve used. The PVC rings affixed to the valves are very close to the end of the valve. I tried one kit with a small pencil torch, the other with a regular one. I had a flame shield and wet towels wrapped around the valve and plastic and ended up still deforming the pvc enough where it cannot fit in the hole. Ended up having to by a second box and just cut free the covers so they could be removed and affixed around a standee fitting with a little...

Would Not RecommendYou have less than one inch of room to sweat the pipes with a 3500 degree MAP gas torch. Even with a heat shield cloth it’s near impossible not to melt the plastic.

Would Not RecommendAs someone else's review said, this product is terrible for sweating copper pipes. I even tried to prevent issues by sweating on a straight pipe before inserting it into the box, but the little washers around the valve deformed and wouldn't twist into the box afterwards. Terrible.

Not well designed and poor quality
Would Not RecommendOne of the valve has defects and kept leaking between metal joint. Caused pipe crack during adjustment. End up using my own old valve. Also, the plastic sealed around the valve can mask the minor leaking ias it would not drip down until filled up the cap area. If you do not wait and place Sheetrock back, it can be much worse problem. Unable to return since I had placed box in and used one of the valve.
