I have the rug under a lot of furniture so I only used corner tape to keep the corner down and myself from tripping on it. If you like a cushier feel under your feet, then I recommend a premium rug mat under.

Difficult to Set-Up
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We like the design and patter of our rug. I do wish it was plusher.However, it has been nearly impossible to get the rug to lay flat. All of the ends are curling up no matter if we place weight on them or what strategy we use. We've been trying for over a week now.
