Would RecommendI bought this 2 weeks ago because I have had excellent results with it in the past. The mulch is all-natural with no added dyes, which is a plus, since I use it in my vegetable and wildflower gardens.
Perfect mulch, no dye, no float, doesn't was away easy, and good for the plants.
Stays in place on a steep hillside despite recent intense rain and storms. Looks to retain color and seems to be pretty effective at suppressing the worst of the weeds we cut down before laying the mulch.

Would RecommendAs advertised, these wood shavings do not float. The natural wood color is pleasing in any landscape and ages to a nice weathered wood tone. I refresh my yard twice a year with these and they are at a great price point. I know because I am a comparison shopper.
Great mulch but packaging needs much improvement
Overall good mulch but I found many of the bags already had huge holes and the mulch was leaking out, very disappointing.

A Plant and Money Saver
After purchasing three bags of this mulch a month ago, I just bought another and will return this weekend for a fifth. I love the fact it is all natural, reasonably priced, insulates my plants from the hundred degree temperatures, retaining the precious water, and smells fresh.

The bags I bought this time were extremely wet, meaning very heavy for an older person to transfer on to the cart, then up into my pickup. The cart left a trail of water all the way to the register where it left a puddle. And another puddle in the back of the pickup, where it drained onto my garage floor. Seems like a lot.
