After my Weber Genesis rusted out in less than 8 years I decided to go in a different direction. So far the Monument seems to be okay. The burners are much closer to the grates and the clearance between the grates and the top of the hood than what I was used to. It’s easier to burn food and it may not be possible to cook a standing beer can chicken, we’ll see. On the plus side the burners can really sear and put a crust on steaks and burgers. Hopefully, this will be my last grill. The assembly went together easily, the instructions were very understandable. I fired it up and the grill came to temp quickly. It cooked my chicken perfectly. No hot spots, just even heat over the entire area.

Disappointed
Received the grill and assembled it, everything was included and the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The infrared sear burner does not light and I’ve reached out to them but they have not resolved the issue and have quit communicating with me.

Disappointed and would like to send it back or have someone from the company disassemble and reassemble it…it doesn’t sear and doesn’t get hot enough to cook a steak. Very sad

Best Grill I ever had
Would RecommendI love this grill. It gives just the right amount of flare up to give tastes to the meat yet is easily controllable, so you don't burn the food. It heats up really fast and cooks evenly. What I especially love about it is the base that holds the drip pan right beneath the flame jets is removable (pulls out from back) so that you can wash it off. I once had the inside of grill catch fire because the base wasn't removable and grease build up ignited. I love that the knobs light up to let me know ...

Second Monument grill I purchased. The first lasted 4-5 years. Controls are very good and the built in thermometer makes it easy to get the job done. Searing side does a great job of sealing in the moisture so it doesn’t dry out the meat. Side burner is handy for boiling corn on the cob.

Just completed assembly any have cooked several items. heats quickly and reaches high heat quickly. Sear works well, but leave any liquid off till after browning or it flames quickly
