Would RecommendReplaced a Badger brand disposal that had broken. Went with this model for the quiet level it advertised. With the stopper in you can barely hear the motor run, but of course you need running water to function. It is quieter, but not "whisper quiet" like some reviews said. Works well but our main observation is that when you first turn it on theres always a loud "clank" as the metal arms slap into place inside the grinder.

Very loud. Manual pictures don't match included parts. There was no fiber gasket included. When it starts there's a horrible metal clinking sound every time. Also did I say it's very loud?

Very Quiet
Would RecommendI was skeptical of how quiet the disposal was, compared to our last one. I was amazing surprised after I installed and ran it. Installation was quite easy as well..just followed the instructions. All my old piping fits and didn't have to move anything.

Loud Garbage Disposal not the quietest
Would Not RecommendI purchased this on June 20, 2026. We replaced a previous InSinkErator model with Moen Ex100C. We are very dissappointed with the noise level. Also, when we turn on the disposal, there is a really loud clank sound that is very irritating. But once it turns on this sound goes away. But this model is really loud as if there is no dampening of sound at all. Not at all what I expect from a Moen brand.

Instructions are a little confusing
Would RecommendI liked the 3/4 horsepower relative to the price. The 10 year warranty is significant. The pictures in the instructions made it a little confusing to install correctly but I eventually figured it out. This disposal went in our rental property and after it was hooked up and operating it I thought the 3/4 horsepower would have sounded a little more robust than it does but I have no way of measuring the actual horsepower output.
