Would Not RecommendThe product dried quickly and looks to provide good protection. My disappointment is that I used it on a white surface and it is not as clear as I understood it would be there is a yellow tinge to the surface. Since it will be used outdoors I think it will be fine, but if it was on an indoor surface, I would have to sand it down and redo the whole thing with another product.

I would not recommend using this product. Minwax has advertised that you can use this over an oil stain in order to seal and that is not the case. It comes out discolored everytime. Please if trying to stain and seal anything use oil stain and 100& oil sealer not this hybrid option.

Would RecommendMost of the complaints I see about this product have to do with application errors or inexperienced finishers..I have used this product for years and it's excellent. It has the color benefits of a solvent based urethane (yes that;s a PLUS) especially on wood like Cherry, Walnut, Mahogany, etc...I spray this product with an inexpensive HVLP spraygun and once adjusted properly it gives excellent results, dries quick,flows out well....even pads well on repairs or smaller projects.
