I've used other wood fillers and found this to be the best. It's easy to work with and fills in flaws and small holes easily, and is easy to sand down before priming and painting. I especially liked that the remaining product stays moist in the container, as long as you close it properly.

I bought this wood filler about a month ago to repair a couple small wood gouges from an electric sander. Application was easy and it dried fairly quickly. Could be molded, sanded and painted easily. I would buy again if needed.

Would RecommendI purchased this Minwax Stainable Wood Filler to repair some pretty deep scratches and gashes left behind by my cat, who apparently thought my staircase banisters were scratching posts! The filler was incredibly easy to apply, even in the deeper areas. Once it dried, it sanded down beautifully and left a nice, smooth surface. I was especially impressed with how well it accepted the stain. It made restoring my staircase so much easier. Definitely a product I would purchase again!
