Ratings & Reviews for Minwax PolyShades Oil-based Honey Semi-transparent Satin Interior Stain ( Half-pint )

What Customers Are Saying

The product received mixed reviews. Many customers praised its convenience as an all-in-one stain and polyurethane solution that produces glossy finishes with minimal effort. However, a significant number reported major issues, finding it extremely difficult to apply evenly, resulting in uneven, patchy, and brush-marked finishes. Some described the results as "catastrophic" and "a nightmare." Customers had better success using it on horizontal surfaces compared to vertical ones, and many recommended using a traditional stain and polyurethane application instead.
