Not impressed

Some of the features that seem they'd be helpful, really aren't. Sliding shelf: slide it back and you now have no shelf. Door bins are not adjustable, except for the one 1-touch. Shelves technically can be adjusted, but aren't really secure in any position other than how they come.

Perfect

Newly purchased and love it ....so far. Only time will tell. Delivery team was fast and professional.

I bought this the beginning of the month. I love my new fridge. Its larger than my last and has water and ice in the door.

I only shop at Lowes. They are the best!

Great icemaker.

Purchased this refrigerator three weeks ago for the icemaker and all the space it has.

Garbage

Beware! My whole unit stopped working after 6 months. Customer service is awful! I called three times one day to speak to a manager.. that call never came. Each customer support member will tell you something different. Awful product. $1700 piece of trash.

Had it for 4 months. So far it works great except for the ice maker in the lower drawer. Something must be dripping on the rear of the ice bucket. The rear ice is always a big clump of ice. Called for service and they want to replace the whole refrigerator. Already had two because the first one was full of small dents.

Excellent product at a great price

Our previous French door refrigerator/freezer quit working. Timing was perfect because Lowe’s had a Labor Day sale on. We ordered it and received it 2 days later. We kept the food cold with ice packs from our upright freezer for 2 days and before the arrival time for the new one I packed three coolers full of. Fridge want cool properly and have paperwork from manufacturer to replace. no one from lowes in Wilson NC will contact me back. I did a lot of research on the Mideamrf29d9bst and it looked like it would fit my needs had it a month now and am pleased with my purchase.

TERRIBLE PRODUCT AND EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE

This is by far the worst purchase I’ve ever made. 6 month old refrigerator completely broken. Was intermittently cooling until it stopped cooling all together. Today is day 8 of yet another phone call made to this company and nothing being rectified. Every single item in the refrigerator/freezer had to be thrown out due to spoilage. Do not waste your time on this piece of trash.

not sure how well the refrigerator works yet, but the delivery drivers were great they took special care not to scratch or dent the refrigerator. and took special care not to damage walls or floors of the property, they even replaced our water line that was leaking and we did not know. no charge, great bunch of guys.

Just received

It was JUST delivered and the first thing I feel needs to be addressed is the size. My spot measured 39”x71” and the system calculator said it would fit. It does fit but the right side is against a wall. When you open the door it touches the wall which prevents the bottom long tray from being pulled out more than 2-3”. Buyer beware. New refrigerator trips GFCI

Buyer beware. New refrigerator repeatedly trips GFCI breaker. I bought a new Midea MRF29D9BST from Lowe’s expecting reliability, not constant troubleshooting. From day one, it trips my dedicated 20 amp GFCI breaker after about 13 minutes, even on a dedicated refrigerator circuit. Neither Lowe’s nor the owner’s manual mentioned any GFCI compatibility issues. If this fridge isn’t designed to work with modern GFCI protection, customers deserve to know that up front. Damage during installation

During installation my product was damaged by the installers in 3 places on the inside of the left door. As expensive as this product is, it was disappointing to realize they damaged my brand new fridge after they left my home. The damage was minor but again, with it being a brand new product it’s disappointing it was damaged at all.

Amazing value and 2 year warranty

Great fridge. Water/Ice dispenser is fantastic. It has an autofill feature that we love. Tons of space and we tried the Samsung 31 Mega and sent it back for this one.
