Defective product and dismissive customer support

I purchased this Midea MRF18B4AST refrigerator new in May 2026. By September, I discovered that the rear defrost drip pan was full of water. I also noticed air escaping from the bottom-center seam between the closed refrigerator doors, and did a paper test and found almost zero resistance in that area. The overall design is nice but this is a piece of trash. Went completely out in less than 90 days of purchase; after get a return authorization from the manufacturer Lowe’s would not come pick it up and had to pay to have it returned to the store.

A Hassle to Repair - DO NOT BUY

Actually 0 stars due to jorrible Customer Service! The refrigerator works fairly well for several months and then it starts having problems. We purchased an extended warranty but then were told when we called for repairs that the extended warranty was not added to the order. We probably should have checked that after we received the refrigerator but unfortunately we did not. Average, annoying

Awkward and uncomfortable to use. There was a problem with the seal and had to have it replaced once because the door was leaking. I chose this because it had a good rating on this platform, but I must disagree. It's average at best. Another problem is the temperature, the vegetable drawers both freeze while other areas of the refrigerator are closer to 40°F. If you want something cold, it needs to be near the back, and get ready for a warm fridge or else your produce will freeze. The first one...
