Great bargain, you get alot for your money in a

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Compact 3 Amp batterys are a god send, less weight more compact size. Very good build quality long battery life.

So glad I made the upgrade to Metabo.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently upgraded from an old Black & Decker drill/driver to this Metabo; what a world of difference! Almost everything is better (weight, power, battery life, comfortable feel, features, and smooth operation). If I had any negative comments, it would be: (1) during operation it has a whine that is louder than my B&D and (2) I find the forward/reverse slider moves so effortlessly, it's easy for me to move it unintentionally.

Great tool but problematic service

I got the hammer drill with the 5Ah and 3 Ah batteries and it is a excellent drill, but after about 2 months of usage the Keyless chuck started to make a crunch noise when opening and closing, and although it's functional I suspect it's about to break. This would not be a problem, but I currently reside in Israel, and there is no formal service provider here, so I might have to ship it to the US, which will cost the price of the product...

Great speed & features

Very fast, not too heavy and the hammer function is great for masonry work.

Brushless hammer drill combo

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was borrowing an older hammer drill from a friend and was not getting the power I thought a hammer drill would have. I was drilling about 2 inches into natural stone and was really struggling. Ended up buying this drill and paired with a new 5/32 bit and was able to drill the hole in seconds. Came with two batteries a charger and bag. Great entry price to be able to buy more tools on this platform too.

Really nice combo

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this combo for a month and a half great proformance light weight fits nicely in hand

Compact and Powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very Pleased with the tool! Handy size with great torque and control.

Great drills

Seems to be a quality built machine. Enjoy using mine installing custom showers.

Does the job

I've used small impact drivers in industrial settings for a long time. I first became familiar with HItachi/Metabo tools when as a maintenance mechanic for large millwork manufacturer I was assigned tool repair along with millwright responsibility. When you get into the "guts" of a tool you know what's quality engineering and what's junk immediately. This 1/4" impact driver does all you'd want and more in a home setting. I especially like the fact you can "throttle" the trigger and drive fas...

Drill is Milwaukee quality and maybe better.

Drill is top quality..5 stars. As for the impact..it's not great..3 stars. Hence the 4 star rating. Drill is a beast. The only negative I have at this point is both tools direction/gear selector is very cheap feeling and doesn't seem like it will last the test of time.

Decent hammer drill

Decent hammer drill. Probably the most comfort minded hammer drill I have. No handle comes with/goes with this drill. You either have to find a universal one or buy the better hammer drill model. Which usually means this is the base hammer drill model

Great power tool!

Great tool for working around the house. Plus the extra power from the tool makes life a lot easier.

Powerful Impact

Very powerful impact. Drove 3inch screws with ease. Impact itself is not very heavy and did not cause any fatigue.
