Great Feature for Pet Owners

Do NOT buy!

This is the worst machine I have ever wasted money on. Do not buy! There is no front drain. The only way to drain your washer and keep is from smelling is to dismantle the entire machine including the electronics panel. This needs to be done at least monthly to remove kid socks, panties and old water. The machine also doesn’t have a spin only cycle in case your clothes are too wet after washing. As with all appliances. No once cares that the product sucks. You can’t return it. This is just life...

Perfect for pet owners

Save your time and money

I spent the extra money for the pet pro version and this clogs more often than any normal washer I have owned. The washer will just stop draining randomly and leave my clothes sopping wet. Stay away, frequent service required

The problem is there is no consumer access to the pump filter, it requires disassembly of the washer and/or a service call. Laundry Day Just Got Better!

Functions not user friendly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love Maytag appliances, the only issue I have with the washer which we should’ve considered when purchasing was how to get to the main filter. After having the machine for a couple months the filter was clogged causing the machine to have functioning issues. It wouldn’t drain, spin or complete a cycle. We love the pet hair feature since we have a husky. But it only works if there is a lot of hair, no minimal hair.

Do NOT buy

We purchased this washer with matching dryer in February 2025. It has been a year and a half and the the water intake valve has already failed, and we are having to pay to replace it despite it being a known problem. On top of that, there was supposed to be an easy way to clean the drain filter, because it was designed for pet owners. If you look at the specs and instructions online, they do not match. You have to take off the whole cover, not open a drawer to clean the filter. It is ridiculo...

What a headache 🙅🙅

This has been the most frustrating experience I've had with a brand new washer. The amount or errors and issues this thing has had since I purchased it has been astounding. Don't get me wrong .. the washer is great when it cleans and operates as it should but, once the screen for whatever reason stopped displaying less than a year of having it and the water suddenly not wanting to drain out has been the start of plenty of issues

New is better than I thought

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quick Quiet efficient has made it a pleasure so far. It did have an initial problem with the softener tray, not flushing through, but after contacting and getting new parts, it was repaired and it worked fine ever since.
