Ice maker puts plastic pieces in ice.

2 star because I actually like it, but 2 negatives: deli drawer doesn't slide real well and the worst: the ice maker gives off small pieces of plastic in the ice. We have a reverse osmosis system so it's definitely coming from the ice maker. We had it replaced and it doesn't help.

PERFECT FOR MY KITCHEN

Good small size fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator fit the spaces with ick is the reason we purchased it. It was pretty expensive for a small refrigerator. Its icemaker is the best feature. It makes a ton of ice and it does it well. The drawers don’t pull out of push in nicely and the layout make it hard for storage.

A Perfect Fit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced a 10-year-old French-door fridge, and this was one of only two units that we found which would fit into our 30"-wide, built-in surround. Also wanted a single door - French doors look nice, but in the narrower units they're frustrating as you always have to open both doors - basically twice the work, for less useable interior space! Very happy overall with this unit - it's not fancy, but it fits and it works well for us.

Good Replacement for Smaller Kitchens

We needed a refrigerator that would fit a specific space, and this Maytag was one of the better options available at a reasonable price. Installation was straightforward, it runs quietly, and it keeps food cold as expected. My biggest complaint is the interior layout. The shelf arrangement is not as flexible or efficient as our previous Amana refrigerator, and the full-width deli/meat drawer, while a nice idea in theory, takes up more space than I expected and reduces overall usability for our ...

Happy Overall

I did end up removing one of them entirely to accommodate the height of jars and beverages that I use. I have been keeping track of the temperature with a thermometer. The manufacturers recommended setting is for, however I needed to put it at five to achieve safe food storage temperatures in the refrigera...

Love my new refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Giving it four stars because two of the drawers came with scratches. I've had Maytag send me twice now, the incorrect fruit and vegetable drawer, and used/scratched deli drawer. Other than that, I love it. Lots of room.

like it

So,when it was time to replace it,l went for it. no water filter system. Great. Keep it simple. Do not need a water dispenser that requires a filter. Secondarily l like the ice cube shape. negatives are : too many steps to lower wheels to move appliance, also the storage bin trays seem fragile. Over all happy with it and it's asthetics,

Should be better for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall a decent fridge but lacks in quality parts on the interior. Drawers don't slide very well, some of the plastic pieces are rather cheap and breaks easily. But what we are most disappointed with is that this model does not have any water filter for the ice maker and that the ice maker gives the ice a plasticy, chemically taste which we are still waiting for it to clear.

Good refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my new fridge a couple of months ago and so far I really like it. My only problem with it is when they change the door handle and at the top of the fridge they moved the hinge but now there’s no cover over where the hinge used to be. I really thing some kind of cover should be there.

Not sure yet

Hoping this was a good purchase, but I can’t rate it well yet. My first impression was the broken plastic caps that covered the screw holes from the installation crew reversing the handle. It definitely cheapens the aesthetics of the whole thing.

Bottom Freezer
