Fantastic Smoker

Easy set up execution and great results.

Over time we have garnished universal support. The next family event is the talk of the town. May have to upgrade just to keep everyone happy.

5 Stars – Still Love It!

I don’t use it as often as I did during the first year, but every time I fire it up, I end up asking myself, “Why don’t I make ribs every chance I get?” The flavor, the ease of use—it’s just that good. Definitely one of the best purchases I’ve made for backyard cooking.

Not long lasting

I bought this about a year ago. Worked fine until now it won’t heat more than 100*. Started to smoke at where the analog plugs into side of smoker. Worked great but doesn’t last long! 🙁

Good Smoker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this smoker in August of this year. I really enjoy my Masterbuilt products. I have an older digital 30 inch and loved it. I am not as happy with this new one. The door has no seal to help keep temperature, and smoke escapes all around the door. The smoke outlet hole on the back is a hole with no control . Now the wood chip tray is only accessible by opening the door, bad idea. Overall a good smoker.

Amateur Easy

Product doesn’t smoke unless 275 degrees turn it back 225 quits smoking

Brand new and does not heat

first time trying to use it and temperature does not go above 110 degrees. Cannot return now. I wish I had tried it sooner. Not recommended.

Do Not Buy unless you like paint on your food

It amazes me that a company would paint the inside of an appliance that heats with paint that peels off – onto the food. After the third time I used this smoker – on the lowest setting – I noticed strips of paint hanging off the inside of the top (roof?) dangling over the meat I was smoking. After 2 years of only occasional use, all the paint inside has sloughed off and the box itself is rusting. Very, very poor product. Oh and don’t expect to ever clean off the gunk that collects on the bottom ...

Loved it but need to purchase one every year.

I've owned two of these, the first one plugged in like an electric frying pan. It worked great and I loved using it. Had a little hard time controlling the heat fluctuations based on the sir temperatures which I understand. I had it about 3 years used it on weekends as a good smoke takes time so working weekdays it didn't get used much. Eventually the plug in prong got loose and I rigged it for a couple more smokes. Last Spring I bought a new one, this one had it's own built in controller ...

Power problems

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this about 8 years ago and it worked good for about 4 years. Then I had problems with the power. Not sure if it is the power cord or the burner. I haven't replaced it yet. It is still sitting on my back screened in porch.
