Nothing masterful about this smoker

Glass panel on door may appeal to an amateur, but is simply ridiculous on a smoker. Don’t bother to clean it. The width of the cabinet and racks are a tad narrow, making it difficult to fit a large (15#) brisket or pork belly (10#) onto one rack. After just one season the thermostat fails to keep temperature stable with large temperature swings of +/-20 degrees. I have to babysit this smoker to control the temperature…very disappointing.

Good Not Great

When starting up, I have to hold the control in for a really long time before it finally stays lit. Also, 250 on the temperature control does not necessary mean 250 so I recommend a wireless or internal monitor.

Putting together. also very simple well. Seasoning it was also very easy. First cook came out fantastic. Here's to another 20 years using this amazing smoker

Love it and Works flawlessly

I have owned this for 3 years now and it has always worked flawlessly. Temperature is very easy to control and uses very little gas. Should get almost 2 seasons out of a tank of gas.

Poor welds

I have had this smoker for awhile and about 3 months ago the door hinge welds broke and the door fell off. I was able to weld it back on but it didn’t last but two cooks. I like the smoker but not the workmanship. .

Great Vertical Smoker

My Propane smoker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this smoker liked it a great deal, the pan for wood chips is great, dual doors for access to add more wood chips, overall very pleased. The top door hinge broke making it almost useless.It still works but a pain to use, and clean.

One, the interior area is smaller than I expected, and eighteen lb spatchcock turkey is a tight fit. Two, wood pan is too small to put enough flavor into the meat early in the cook.

Does not stay lit.

Bought and assembled a couple months ago. Finally got a chance to use it. Two hours into the smoke the flame went out. Not a supply issue. Will only stay lit if you hold the knob in. Let go of the knob it goes out. The heat sensor is installed properly, connections are tight. The controls are simply faulty and based upon dozens of other reviews it’s a common defect.

When i purchased this i tried using everything as intended but wasn't getting the smoke output i was wanting.
