What Customers Are Saying
The Master Lock combination lock has received mixed reviews. Some users found it easy to set and use, appreciating the ability to choose word combinations instead of numbers. However, many reported the combination randomly stopped working after just a few days or weeks, causing frustration when they were locked out. The lock's quality and durability were also criticized, with some describing it as cheap and easy to defeat. Overall, while some were satisfied, the majority of reviews indicate significant reliability issues with this product.

Would Not RecommendUsed this after setting my own code for about 1 month, then all of the sudden my pre-set combo would not work. Going to have to cut this piece of junk off and try again. $15.00 or close to it and lasts less than two months…pathetic. I’m going to try and take it back to Lowe’s after I cut it off.

Great for the cold outdoors
Would RecommendI purchased this item to lock an outdoor dumpster. I had purchased a previous lock from another company. That lock did not work great once the cold weather came upon us. In fact it froze. I had to cut off the lock with my grinder. So I purchased this padlock. We have had some very cold weather in Pennsylvania these last sever weeks. This lock continues to work fine every time I need to access the inside of the dumpster. The ring slides in and out of the socket, and the combination featur...

Master Lock resettable combination lock.
Would Not RecommendThe lock is so incredibly lightweight and not secure at all. Someone with a pair of pliers or a long screwdriver could easily defeat this lock. Where the front of the shackle drops down into the body is the lock, there is only a very shallow divot. Only about an 1/8th of an inch deep. I do not recommend this lock if you are serious about protecting your property. My guess is that one sharp hit from a hammer or wrench would bust this garbage open. Master Lock should be ashamed to put there name o...
