Ratings & Reviews for Master Lock Resettable Combination Padlock, 1-5/16-in Wide x 2-in Shackle

Waste of money

I could not reset the lock and it is now a waste since it can’t even lock. The dials were way too hard turn. The hook would not engage to the position to set a new combination. Don’t waster your time.

Lightweight

Easy to set and easy to read numbers in window.

Long Shackle lock

The long shackle was exactly what I was looking for as I needed a lock for the backyard gate.

Meh

Awkward latch

Gates

It’s a lock. Using to lock my gates.

Travel Lock

The travel lock was just the perfect fit. I wad just the right size for our foot locker.

Master lock luggage locks saved my getaway!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just took a quick girls trip with 3 friends and I almost did not take my new Master Lock luggage locks. Fortunately I did grab them, and although I didn't use it in the airport I did think to pop them on as we left the hotel. Good thing I did, everyone got their luggage ransacked EXCEPT me! I think having it locked just looked like too much trouble or they tried to no avail, but the only bags not rummaged through were mine with the master loc...

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shackle is way too big to fit through the zipper loops. The lock itself is also too big to be used as a conventional luggage lock and is mostly for boxes, small sheds, etc. Won’t be using it for luggage. But I’m keeping it as it seems sturdy and of high quality. You’d also need a microscope to read the instructions!! It’s not rocket science though and anyone can figure how to set it. Well, most people will.

Locked up

This lock has proven to be a reliable and convenient solution for securing my luggage during travel. Here are some reasons why I highly recommend this product: TSA-Approved: One of the standout features of this lock is its TSA approval. It provides peace of mind knowing that airport security personnel can easily inspect my luggage with...

Great for any luggage

Great lock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Master Lock has easy-to-follow instructions to set the numeric combination. I didn't check that this particular lock fits through the zipper of my preferred carry-on; however, I'll definitely keep the lock in case I ever switch luggages.

Great security feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I uses this frequently for my work trips and gives me that piece of mind for security. The TSA has no issues with it if they need to check my bag and it was easy to change the combination. I will definitely be buying an another one.

Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very solid lock. Masterlock of course makes good products so I've never second guessed how reliable this lock will be. It can take the rough life living on the outside of a suitcase. This has made it through the airport many times.

Nice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a heavy-duty lock, I like the fact that I can set my own code. I may not only use for luggage lock, but I will also use it to lock up my E-Bikes when we go camping, just for extra security on them.

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its a pretty great combination lock that could be used for pretty much anything. You can set your own code and was easy to set. It feels nice and durable too! Probably won't break easy. I would recommend

another trusty travel companion

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] another trusty travel companion - always travel with a lock- especially when having to check a big. This lock stands up to the rigors of airline travel and have had no issues. Would definitely recommend

A little too small

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish this was a little wider. It fits more for a carry-on which TSA would not need to open when I am not around. I like that I can set my own combination. Although I think it would benefit me when I cannot put my luggage over top my seat and it has to be in an overhead bin where I cannot see it.
