Extremely Easy to Light

I've had this about 3 weeks. My first experience with a self lighting heater. Truly I was amazed. It will heater my 2 bedroom house easily. Probably should have bought a smaller one though. Simply because runtime would be longer than 10 hours. Ignition is the easiest option I've ever encountered.

Heats up quickly

I got this to supplement the main house heating unit. With the cost of EVERYTHING these days I won’t deny myself the comfort of heat. I bought this heater a month ago and tried it out very easy to operate cant wait to actually use it.

Hard to light

The kerosene heater does not have an ignition button as pictured. It has an automatic ignition system that you turn the knob until it lights. It is difficult to light and I did place batteries in it. I called customer service and he was not helpful. He was just reading info off of paperwork but didn't know about the product. Easy to put together

I bought this to help keep my heat from going on during the winter to save money. I have not used it yet, but it was easy putting it together.

Easy assembly and good performance!

I purchased the Master Forge 23800-BYU Kerosene heater last winter when my heat pump stopped working. I followed the initial start-up instructions in the provided manual and it started right up! I did this outside in a well-vented area before using it inside my home. I would highly recommend you read the manual in regard to wick maintenance and replacement and the dry burn procedure.
