What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise the gas log set for straightforward installation, realistic appearance, and strong heating output. Many highlight the attractive logs and lava rock as focal points that look premium. However, a substantial group reports critical failures: pilot lights won't stay lit, flames won't ignite reliably, and thermostats malfunction—either unresponsive or refusing to shut off. Several mention replacement units had identical issues. Minor complaints include battery sensitivity, missing accessories, and loud popping sounds. Despite strong appeal and performance when working, reliability concerns significantly impact overall satisfaction.

Excellent product for the price. A bit complicated to install since instructions are very detailed but shouldn't be a problem if your installer has any pre-experience in this sort of installation. The system has a toggle-type on/off switch that can be placed to the side of fireplace for EASY operation as long as pilot light is kept on. Really no need for additional remote that also is included. Really happy with this purchase.

Worth it!
Would RecommendUnable to arrange installation through Lowe's but was able to find a plumber to handle it. The unit exceeds my expectations, attractive and functional. Would definitely recommend

Good product with only one minor negative.
Would RecommendThis log set was reasonably priced, arrived quickly, easy to install and looks and works well. My only negative is that the “click” when the fire comes on is loud and harsh.

Returned Item
Would Not RecommendI returned the item because only one pilot light worked. As I was returning the item another customer was returning their unit because of the same issue.
