Heavy Duty Shovel

This shovel is sturdy and suitable for heavy duty work. The metal is thick and the handle is steel reinforced. Previously I had a wood handle on my shovel which broke with heavy work. That will not happen with this shovel. I bought it specifically to clear ice and snow in drifts. It worked great.

Only shovel you need - great for tall people

My husband and I are both tall and this shovel having the longer handle made a huge difference for us. We've used it mostly for yard work and the edge was great at scraping those annoying weeds between the cracks in the driveway, then it was solid and sturdy when it came to scooping everything up and transferring it to the trash bin. Would 100% buy this again - don't skimp on a cheap shovel. This is the way to go.

It can handle compacted soil and gravel. Also can handle forces imposed by a strong teenager.

Round Point Shovel

I had 2 other shovels of this type that had failed in the metal base where it connects to the handle. This shovel has a much thicker and stronger metal base. Cost a little bit more, but definitely worth it.
