What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this waterproofing membrane for exceptional performance and ease of use in bathroom renovations. Most highlight its superior ability to prevent water damage and create a durable barrier behind tile, with many noting the helpful dark green-to-black color change when dry. Reviewers consistently describe application as straightforward using brush or roller, with quick 30-minute drying time and easy water cleanup. Several report strong durability with multiple coats, and many confirm one gallon covers a standard shower. A few note minor color inconsistencies or odor, but these rare concerns are vastly outweighed by widespread satisfaction and recommendation.

This made the job simple.
Would RecommendReally liked how easy it was to use and no noticeable Oder, Used 3 coats just to make a good seal, nice clean up with just soap and water. I ended up using a brush as it made coverage more complete, and with less mess.

Good Stuff
Would RecommendTook a while for this DIY'r to get the hang of applying a nice smooth coat, but the finished product seems very durable. I would certainly use it again. Found that a good brush seems to work well.

Question all items needed for flooring install
Would Not RecommendWasn’t needed for waterproof vinyl flooring installation, but ordered by Lowe’s flooring contractor. Flooring already has underlayment attached to tile.

Saved from major damage.
Would RecommendWell i like that it saved my home from major flooding. I diy'd a shower and used aqua defence before install, i ordered water lines off a popular sales site, they had top reviews. Well mine burst almost full length of hose . Water everywhere , but nothing downstairs thanks to AQUADEFENSE.
