Easy to work with, but bags are fragile
Would RecommendThis mortar is easy to work with, cost effective, and binds effectively. The only tradeoff is that the bags have relatively thin plastic, so if you have them delivered you can expect 20% of your bags to be slightly torn or gouged and leaking a dusting of thinset. Toss the bags in a tote on delivery to prevent thinset dust from being tracked all over the job site.

Would RecommendThis is a good thinset product. There’s not a whole lot to say…it mixes well, spreads well, and has a decent work time. I’d say this is comparable in workability to the brown bagged one at the orange store, but that store doesn’t sell all the other great install products I get at Lowe’s.
