Get's the Job Done
Would RecommendThis plastic screen rolling tool did the job and helped successfully press the rubber spline into the frame. I chose a slightly thicker rubber spline than was previously in the frame per the recommendations on the clear view screen, which made this a bit more challenging and I might have preferred a sturdier metal or wooden rolling tool. In the end I achieved a nice snug fit and the screen looks great. I would use this tool again.

Affordable and gets the job done
Would RecommendOnly used once so far but worked good. After reading all the other reviews we figured we would give this a try as the one we had got lost years ago. Very affordable, however not as sturdy as our “old” metal one but it got the job done. We will see if it holds up when we do the other screens.

Would RecommendI didn't realize spline rollers apparently have different sizes to accommodate different size spline. I got a "nice" one that was more expensive but it was too big and wouldn't push the spline into the grooves on our window screens. I got this because I didn't want to spend much more on the project. It's cheap plastic and feels like it, but it's sturdy enough to get the job done. Unless you're just smashing stuff , this thing is plenty strong enough to re-screen all the windows in your house. Ok to be the cheap version
Worked as expected - no need to buy the more expensive version that’s available, this did the job completely fine. I expect it to last too. I put together four big screens with it.
