Great DIY replacement screen frames

I had to replace four missing screens on a new home. These frames were so easy to measure, cut, and assemble. Worked great. My only problem was I didn't realize that the spline was already in the frame before I cut the first one so I needed to replace the spline in one screen. (My fault)

Good product with inadequate instructions

Great product, but the instructions are not very helpful- they were basically “measure window, cut, install screen, put on window.” Fortunately I found a video online that provided much better instructions

This stuff is junk. The frame won’t hold the spline. Don’t waste your time with it.

This screen frame replacement kit is a good value and quality. The instructions, however, could use some more details. They assume that the previous screen frame that you are replacing was the correct size and fit.

Nice frames for new screens.

Pretty sturdy frame for screen and easy to work with but there weren't complete instructions for putting together but a quick YouTube tutorial and off ya go! We found we needed to recut the frames because the corner joins are improperly sized so subtract 1 5/8 inches instead of downloaded instructions of 1 1/2.

Horrible Flimsy Frame

I measured the frames I wanted to replace, and they were 7/16. I could not find 7/16 at any hardware store locally. I decided to go to Lowes and I purchased 3 of these kits. I measured all my existing frames and cut exactly the same for these kits. When I installed the screen and went to install them, they whereto small. I wish that I read the reviews before I purchased this frame kit. As others stated, the frames are very flimsy and poor quality. I was very careful when making my new screen, but it looked like junk compared to my other screens. In addition, the frame pieces were skinnier than my other screens. Very disappointed.
