Would RecommendUsed this for a threshold where carpet meets wood flooring - carpet was getting a bit tattered. This covered the seem and will protect the carpet. Next time I will make a template to get the exact measurement rather than just using a tape measure. I cut off a bit too much at the ends but you wouldn't normally notice. When measuring, take care to have the nail holes so that you don't get one end lacking a nail. That's why I had to cut both ends.
