Would RecommendI have an 8ft door so this is double in length, but that will come in handy if it starts to fall apart. I have enough left over to replace it again as needed. It was easy to install but took some time to get it all the way across. Trimming was easy with a pair of scissors. This one is vinyl and I think my old one was too. Once I found the right seal for my garage door it was a simple diy project. It was more difficult to remove the old seal than to put it the new one. The new seal just slid down the tracks on the door. I cut it to size and it works great.
