At this point we have had our Swivel Straight stand for close to 10 years. We have a seven foot tree each year. If you FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS it is easy to set up and easy to get the tree stable and standing straight.

Much better stands out there. The inner cup plastic cracked on mine, rendering it useless. I contacted the company for warranty service. No response. I replaced it with a Krinner and it's great.

Best Tree Stand Ever: Works As Advertised

This is great stand! It’s awesome to attach the cup to the tree and plop it into the base. Then adjust the tree until it looks straight, lock the foot peddle, and you are done. It’s that easy and works as advertised. Get some Anti Seize compound from the the automotive store and coat the threads of the turn screws. Excellent stand

I purchased this tree stand 23 years ago and it still works great and has held every tree that I get. Most years I get a 9' tree and haven't had any issues with it. My husband loves it because we can attach the "boot" to the trunk outside and easily slip into the stand. Then unlock it and make adjustments. I will add that we have 3 cats, & one dog, so I do make sure that I put fishing line around the trunk and attach the line to eye hooks put in just for that.

GREAT purchase for live Christmas trees

These tree stands are great purchases for people who still set up live Christmas trees. Just make sure that you take the smaller insert cup with the screws in it to the lot with you or wherever you go to buy your tree and have this cup fitted onto the trunk of your tree. Otherwise, when you get your tree home, the tree trunk may be too large to fit in this inner holder. The tree stand was broken when I opened the box. The swivel still worked so I decided to keep it.

Perfectly Straight Tree

I already own one of these, I’ve had it for about 15years, this is my second. I only purchased a new one because the center piece is missing after a move. I am able to put a tree up all by myself and it’s perfectly straight. The down side of this type is stand is that you need to make sure the trunk fits into it, it’s a narrow opening. No more crooked tree

every year it was a difficult task to get the tree balanced so it does not fall over. This stand made it very simple. It was a bit tricky getting it in the base, but that might have been due to my low ceilings.

This is one of the best things we have brought into our house.The ease of setting up the tree and not having to go back and forth to make it straight was outstanding.

Great idea...that doesn't actually work

The idea is that you attach the top to the bottom of the tree and use the foot pedal to allow free movement while you align the tree in the base. Then you can adjust the tree to be straight and lock it into position. It seemed to work at first, but even when you lock the position the tree moves when you let it go, I don't know if I got a bad one or it's a flawed design, but I would recommend sticking with the tried and true stands that are far cheaper.

Piece of junk

It doesn't lock into position. It clicks and moves. Do not let go after thinking you lock it in place. As a matter of fact, woke up this morning and the tree, the inner base, locking base were face down on my living room floor. Do not get this.

Lifesaver

My teen son and I initially used a spike Christmas tree stand that was a divorce remnant. It was a cattywampus failure! I purchased this stand per recommendation of a friend. It took 5 minutes to take the tree off the spike and put it up straight with this stand. I made a few small fresh cuts with a hacksaw. For best results, don’t exceed the recommended tree diameter and trim small angles at the base ( if needed) to fit all the way down to bottom of holder.

Finally having to replace my original swivel stand

I’ve had a Swivel stand for well over 20 years. I get A large tree each year, and putting it up and getting it straight in the stand is a snap. I broke one of the prongs years ago and was still able to get it to work. This year I broke another prong. I bought this one for next year, as I am pleased the product served me so well all these years. I would definitely recommend this stand.
