What Customers Are Saying
This bulb planter tool received mixed reviews. While some found it useful for planting bulbs in soft soil, many reported issues with the quality and durability. Common complaints included the poor construction, with the plastic handle and components breaking easily. The tool also struggled with harder, compacted, or clay-like soil. On the positive side, some appreciated the spring-loaded release mechanism that helped eject the soil. Overall, this appears to be an affordable but low-quality tool that may work well in ideal conditions but is not durable enough for regular, heavy-duty use.

Auger for drill makes it easier to dig holes
Would RecommendWorks great if your soil is easy to dig in. For me it was pretty hard to dig in and took a lot of twists and turns. It did hold to dirt so you can take it out of the hole. I ended up buying the auger for my drill and made the job much easier.

Gam changer
Would RecommendThe simplicity of compressing the handle to open the tool is nice. I was worried the spring tension would be too much to hold repetitively. I thought with how each it opened it wouldn't do a good job of holding the dirt I was trying to remove but it did a great job. I would recommend this over the standing option as you still need to get down to put the bulb into the ground for planting while if you're doing a two person approach I guess the standing one could be beneficial with one person creat...

Release Feature Nice to Have
Would RecommendThis planter is mostly metal with a plastic handle. The metal is thick and should last a long time. The plastic handle should last a while as well but is not as sturdy as the rest of the planter. I particularly like the release feature that allows you to release the dirt after inserting into the soil.
