Great Everyday Washer for a Family

We’ve had this washer for over a year and use it pretty much every day with kids at home. I really like the top-load design, it has plenty of capacity, and it has done a great job with our everyday laundry. It can be sensitive to very heavy or uneven loads and will stop with an unbalanced-drum error. so far this washing machine is great

Installing this machine was straightforward and simple. Only had it a couple weeks, but it’s been handling laundry loads well, and it runs much quieter than the old one. Not too keen on the ThinQ app, but it’s not required for anything yet. Overall, it was a worthy replacement for the old washer.

Do Not Buy LG!

I purchased this washing machine a week ago. It worked fine for about 3 days. Then for some reason it would not "power on". No lights, no sound, nothing. I called LG customer service and they said to try a hard reset but that didn't work. I checked the power outlets and the breakers and no issues there. It was past the 48 hour window for a return to Lowe's so I called LG about having someone come to look at it and repair it since it was still under warranty. The repair company was sketchy...

This is a follow-up to Major Debris on clothes

I purchased this 2 years ago. It has always worked as designed. We religiously cleaned it at least one a month with cleaning tablets. About a year old it started depositing gunk on the clothes. It was worse after a cleaning tablet. We determined we had to run several "Tub Clean" cycles to clear it up. Fast forward to today, no amount of Tub Cleans would get the floating debris to stop. Major debris on clothes. I do not recommend.

After a year or so started getting debris on clothes.(Always ran "Tub clean") During tub clean, the amount of debris is horrible. Fast forward a year, and unit is unusable. Ran 15 straight tub clean cycles,and it seems to get worse. Im a handy man,and was not able to get the impeller off to clean....I think factoring in the low water amount attributed to this? Even if I was able to remove the impeller and drum to clean,it would happen again. We only used HE tide liquid soap. I hate to pitch a "w...

Not happy with my washer

The agitation is minimal it feels like clothes are not even washed, only rinsed and even then the agitator does not rinse enough. I have treated stains on the clothes previously and the stains are minimally washed, even after washing the clothes twice in a different cycle.

Large capacity and extremely quiet

Large capacity and extremely quiet. I am hopeful that this model is more reliable. There is no drive belt to come loose. I like that this model mainly has buttons on the console instead of switches.
