Significant issues for the price

I have had this washer (and matching dryer) for about 6 years now. This replaced an older pair of LG washer/dryer that had the dryer go out after ~13 years. Washer likes to shake, walk and leak

Giant piece of trash, but a speed queen

This washer was the biggest piece of garbage I have ever owned. It takes forever to do a load. I can't drain it if I need to stop mid load. The dryer that goes with it never dries right. Buttons are too sensitive.

Garbage

Complete garbage. My husband has had to repair the machine multiple times for leaks and now it has another leak and the control panel is out after 4 years. Like everyone else says, don’t buy it.

Great engineering, but needs a little TLC for best

We purchased this washer in May of 2020 (4-1/2 years ago) to replace a top loading washing machine that we had had for over 20 years. This machine has a significantly larger capacity, allowing us to wash all but our largest, thickest comforters. It is much more gentle on our clothes than the top loader was and it seems to me that things come out cleaner. The only downside I have found when it comes to cleaning is that there does not seem to be a soak cycle, so I sometimes have to soak clothes in...

Great purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my set 10 yrs ago. I have to say it's the most amazing set I've ever enjoyed. I have had zero issues and it's amazing how big they are. I do my laundry in half the time. The only thing if it's a thing, is it was so big, I had to change the closing door to a barn door because the washer came out from the wall so much, it wouldn't close - Best purchase ever

SHe lived a long life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved it for years. After almost 8y and over 10 loads a week, it died. I needed a new water pump. I replaced it, and there was still an issue. I wasn't going to pay to have someone come out and diagnose it, so I just bought a. 9500. Ideally they would last longer than 7+years.

5 years strong

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The machine is great, quiet and efficient, concerns I've experienced is requiring a hard reset after using the machine for 5 years. This is an awkward unexpected step but once completed it's back online working as designed.

Excellent Washing Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great washing machine. Very well built. Has many useful features. Biggest and a major problem is Asurion LG Premium Care Plan extended warranty. Horrible to deal with and they will waste hours of your time to finally get service.

Not durable

Water drainage pump went out after only a couple years of use and then the drum alignment.

Great features!

I have had this washer for about 5 years. I love the smart reminders when the wash is done . That works well because the washer is in the basement. The extra size is nice so I can have fewer loads.

Family of 6 - numerous issues

We bought this unit with our house in May 2021. So far, we have had to clean out the water filter many times. The machine had to get the motherboard replaced during warranty then the water pump died. We've dealt with a burning plastic smell with the washer/dryer on various occasions, when the system got stuck in an infinite cycle. The plastic covers for both the washer and dryer cracked, and the lint filter cracked, and the plastic casing around the water pump also cracked during replacement. Th...

Thoughts on machine with larger family

Great features, but issues with the water pump required replacement after 1.5 years of ownership. We've had to clean out the water filter often. Plastic casing on both doors have cracked. Have 4 kids (lots of washing). Have solar and monitor electric usage - these machines use more than expected. Plastic piece near the water pump is fragile - also needed replacement when pump was replaced.

Great washer for a household. Great investment.

Would not buy again

We’ve had this washing machine for several years now. It gets the clothes clean, but it’s a pain in the rear. It drips water from the top when it’s opened and large loads leak water out onto the floor. I love the bottom washer that came with it though.

Pretty on the Outside but Not on the inside

I'm so disappointed that I spent all this money just to have to replace the PCB for another couple hundred dollars.... First Time I've ever had a washing machine have such a catastrophic failure for no foreseeable reason.
