Not Good
Would Not RecommendIt’s not print proof for sure! It died on us after just 3 years. It seemed to heat the plate hotter than the food. It has a black window but the way it’s positioned you can’t see inside if you are short. I also don’t like that the numbers and letters don’t light up so if it’s dark in the room you have to turn a light on or guess. Bad decision on our part.

Liked our new microwave and things were going fine until it stopped heating after 5 months. The repair lasted 2 days before it died again. The second repair lasted about two and a half months. It was not repaired again - three strikes and you are out!

Microwave will not work half the time.
My microwave only works part of the time. If there is any moisture at all (which is what happens cooking in a microwave) the numbers will not work.

Great while it worked
Have loved this microwave. It will be 3 years old next month and I clean it and change the filter as required. Last week I noticed something didn't heat as thoroughly as usual & required reheating. Today I went to use it and the microwave contents were ice cold. I reset on high nothing. I tried resetting by unplugging for 5 minutes with the same results.

The interior and range lighting is a joke!!!
Would Not RecommendI can’t believe how LG didn’t add sufficient lighting to this microwave!! The inside light is ridiculously dim and the over the range lighting is just as bad!! I’m sick and tired of these greedy companies trying to save a nickel on everything they produce!!! This is the last LG product I’ll ever buy!!!

Heating element went out after 1.75 years
Would Not RecommendLG Electronics are no good. I bought a fridge, stove, dishwasher and this microwave all LG in Sept 2024. I have already had to replace the dishwasher and now the heating element in this microwave is out. So now I have to replace this LG appliance. I really hope the fridge and stove last but so far we are 2 out of 4 in leads than 2 years.

It's fine. There's some issue with the door latch sensor / the door itself where it will intermittently just stop cooking. And bc it's intermittent and couldn't be reproduced at-will for the service tech, the repair request was closed out without the issue being repaired. But on the upside, when it is working, it cooks about as well as any other ~1k Watt microwave I've had. I won't ever buy one again, but we've figured out a way to convince it to get through cook cycles consistently, so this one...

Nice microwave; can't read the buttons
Just finished installing my second set of LG appliances (different house), as I generally like them. However, I ignored the comments that the microwave controls are hard to see because they aren't lighted. How bad could it be? It IS bad. I can hardly read the buttons even with all of my kitchen lights on.

Although we like the microwave, our screen doesn’t turn off after it is finished cooking. We have to open and close the door twice in order for the screen to shut off. We have tried unplugging the unit but unfortunately that doesn’t seem to w. The unit is a year and a half old.
