Convection Function Is Far Too Slow

I bought this model partly for the convection-oven feature, and that has been a major disappointment. Recipes that work normally in a conventional oven take much longer in this unit, so I finally checked the temperature with a separate oven thermometer. LG product got me again

took a couple hours to install, plugged it in lights lit up but doesnt cook. called LG support told me someone would get back to me. Three days later I called and was told a technician will call me. My fault, several years ago I had an issue with an LG TV and swore I would never buy LG again. I guarantee I will never buy LG products going forward. Quit working within the first 8 months.

Their customer service said it’s a known issue. Condensation from the stove gets between the glass and damages the motherboard. Terrible way to manufacture this product. I’m still within my manufacturer warranty so had to go through them. They’ve made me wait weeks and they still no resolution. I live in a very rural area and have one repair service. I gave them the name weeks ago and they won’t call them. Very frustrating!

microwave doesn't work

every time I wanted to use the microwave I had to unplug it and then start it and some times it still would not work had to repeat unplugging

Works as expected

The product as received has done as expected. Haven’t had it long but everything well. One drawback is the small viewing door window.

Avoid at all costs

A day after installing the microwave it broke. It would not heat. Called LG expecting a quick replacement, but instead they say they must try and repair. They state they have 5 business days to locate a repair company. On day 5 they locate someone. Three weeks later they come out, put a glass of water in the microwave and try and warm it. great price and excellent product

Not wonderful for baking

I was very disappointed not to have seen the interior before purchase as there is no shelf for baking or roasting and no clips for holding a shelf. Also, and this may be because of the focus on air frying, this oven does not bake evenly.

I'm still testing certain functions. I was not happy with the air fryer for the potatoes, still need to test further. The microwave function is working well. I wish the viewing window was not blocked by black screen. I am short and cannot look into the cooking as it is being done. I would like all microwaves to have a 10 and 15 second function for breads. I recently purchased a motorhome with the LG MHEC1737F installed in it. I have used it numerous times to microwave cook and to reheat items, with outstanding results. However, I have used the air fry function three times, all with terrible results. This is a beautiful OTC Convection Microwave/Hood. The controls, once you learn them, are intuitive and easy to use. I love all the features. The microwave works great.
