Compressor failed 4 yrs old

What a piece of junk pay this much for the compressor to fail after 4 yrs!!!!! They just make them now to fail so you have to buy more. No longer buying lg

Customer service just plain sucks

The ice maker has never worked since purchase. Instead of sending someone to fix the icemaker, they send you the parts and want you to install them. I didn't purchase a $1700 refridgerator so I can be the technician that has to fix it. If this thing was several years old then I may choose to fix it myself. Not when the fridge is brand new.

Classic design

Our LG refrigerator has worked flawlessly every since we installed it over a year ago. Our previous "new" refrigerator, an Amana model, was nothing but total grief and simply would not defrost sufficiently to prevent it from freezing the coils into a block of solid ice about twice a week in the summer. Not Worth It- RUN

We bought in 2021 from Lowes. We have replaced 2 ice makers. 2025 the control board and compressor went out. Those were replaced under the 5 year warranty we purchased. 2026 the coolant leaked out of the compressor. The technician performed a dye test and said there was a leak in the shell and it was not worth fixing. The refrigerator only lasted 5 years. The technician said to stay away from LG Refrigerators.

Door Scratched

Finally received our fridge from Lowes. First time around was a nightmare. They sold us a fridge that was in clearance and apparently oversold the item. We waited all day on the appointed delivery day and nothing. After waiting 3 hours in hold an employee at the Medford Lowe's finally picked up. We purchased model LRDCS2603S in June 2022. We were hesitant because we had an LG dishwasher that didn't last much more than 3 years and the extended warranty was a joke. We were desperate for a refrigerator because a power surge fried our 20 year old Frigidaire. Good looking refrigerator

The fridge is exactly what we needed. It fits perfectly in our kitchen. We bought it to replace a fridge that never quite fit. We are able to open the door all the way now. It’s roomy and everything is easily accessible. The two freezer compartments keep everything organized. We tried to look at this unit at another retailer but they only carried it online. We tried to find it at Lowe’s, but again, only online. The price was fantastic so we took the chance and it worked out well!

This refrigerator is just right for my kitchen area. It has a lot of room inside. Love the pull out freezer drawer. Has plenty of room for my frozen items.

This fridge is great. Love the bottom freezer and all of the square footage! Very attractive and well lit.

Rolling the Dice

Do not buy this refrigerator! You will lose. This refrigerator lasted 4 years and 7 months. The repair man said LG has a compressor problem and they last between 3 to 5 years. When I called to set up the appointment the operator said we don’t touch LG compressors. Apparently the refrigerator repair industry is very familiar with LG refrigerators. I thought I was minimizing problems by not getting an ice maker on the outside of the door. I should have minimized my problems by not buying ...

Buyer Beware

The compressor on our unit failed after 4 years, 9 months. Called the company daily & each time they said, we're looking for a technician. Finally they scheduled a repair person 15 days after our refrigerator failed. In the meantime, we already bought a new refrigerstor, NOT LG. Who can live without a refrigerstor for 15+ days!

Shelves are good and sturdy.

We bought this model 3 1/2 years ago and the compressor failed. LG honored the warranty but it took a few weeks. We rebought the same model because we liked everything else about it plus it was one of only 3 models with the freezer on the bottom that fit.
