Draining process and panel lights failing

Bought this dishwasher 5 years ago and the final cycle does not completely empty the water and the light display in panel does not fully work so it is hard to read the error message. Could be DE. Good but in need of improvement

I am a builder and property owner. I recently pulled the LG DW from a house that will undergo a gut renovation and installed the LG unit in my own home. At the time of removal the DW was, and still is in excellent cosmetic condition and all the controls are working properly. Stay away! Save yourself the headache!

I purchased this dishwasher in June 2020, and as of writing this the dishwasher is only 5 years old. In that time, I have had many of the LEDs on the control panel stop working so I can't tell how much time is set on the screen or if night dry is on. Both racks have rusted significantly on the underside and flakes of metal are coming off. I looked into replacing the bottom rack and it costs half the price of the dishwasher! I would never recommend this product if you are looking for reliability. LG products have gone downhill and they do not stand behind their products.

Shoddy Products

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did not buy a new LG dishwasher when my 3 year old LG failed. It cost more to fixit than replace.My fridge and oven are also defective so I would not buy LG again.

Cannot function

Has broken twice in 4 years of ownership. Current issue can’t be addressed until two weeks after the problem occurred. I understand how third party vendors and repair techs work, but the fact that this is issue #2 on this piece is infuriating. I constantly have issues with Lg products, and the only good thing about them breaking so early into their lifespan is I have an excuse to replace it with something better.

Great service

Motor in my dishwasher stopped working and repairs were no longer covered but the motor was. Due to the safety concerns they got someone to come out. Though it took awhile to find a repair person with time r was great. He had a trainee with him and he was efficient and patient and instructive. Most importantly they fixed my machine!!!

AE code on dishwasher

Just out of warranty and receiving an AE code. Dishwasher is only four years old and now needs repair or replacement. I thought LG produced a better product.

The repairman was very courteous. He was very helpful when we had an additional problem after the initial repair.

motor is making a loud high pitched noise. dishwasher is barely three years old. also, it randomly just keeping resetting and throwing up error codes from time to time

Nope

After 2 years had to really mess with it to work right, water would not come out of the jets and spin the propellers properly. Lots of cycles with cleaner and what not to get it going again. Year 3 it would just randomly start lighting up and beeping for no reason, while in use and while not in use. Year 4, it just died. Acts like it's not plugged in and left water sitting in the tub.

I bought an lg washer for laundry more than 10 years ago and have had no issues with that. The dishwasher I would not recommend to anyone. I’ve had too many issues with it in a short amount of time.

I bought an lg washer for laundry and have had it for 10 years and have had no issues with that. But the dishwasher motor for my lg keeps on going out. The next dishwasher I buy will not be lg. I’ve had too many issues in a short amount of time to recommend an lg dishwasher to someone else.
