Good when it works.

The unit has failed. I have used it sparingly since I am a widower and seldom use many dishes in meal prep. The unit started flashing an nE code. I changed the Verio motor as suggested in the owner's manual and it did not fix the problem. The repair will cost more than a new dishwasher, so I plan to replace the unit. But given the problem with the current one, I may not return to LG for a replacement.

Does not last

For the price, I expected more from the dishwasher. After 3 years, the interior racks needed to be replaced as they had broken. The dishwasher is VERY loud, especially on the heavy or turbo cycle. The parts to repair make it expensive to repair when the product is outside of the warranty period. After 7 years, we are having to replace it.

Life's Garbage

Total junk. Broke down numerous times in the 7 years we owned it. Now it's dead. Never buying an LG appliance again. LG fridge died in 4 years.

Poor Longevity, Quality Issues

I have had this dishwasher for since February of 2019, and for the first few years everything worked great. However in the last few years a bunch of the plastic pieces have started breaking, its like they were not designed to live in a hot wet environment. Abundance of Rust is Evidence of Poor Design

Both middle and bottom rack start rusting withing 2 years of purchase. Several years later they are all but unusable. I think the rust might be the only thing holding the racks together.

Rusts after 3 years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It takes forever to dry and after only 3 years of moderate use - both racks are thoroughly rusted and replacements will cost hundreds of dollars. I had a cheap dishwasher for 10 years that never rusted - don't buy it.

poor quality materials - rack rusted

Technical Check made easy

I appreciated the availability to run a techni check of my dishwasher via my phone. It was a very helpful feature for to help deter the problem.

Get what you pay for. 3 year lifetime

It didn’t make it 3 years before having issues. Wouldn’t complete a full cycle so had to be home to constantly start it when it started beeping thinking the door was open. We had all lg products and nothing but problems so far. Compressor went out in fridge. Ignitor in gas stove, dryer has a bearing going out, and dishwasher thought the door was always open

Quietness

My very first dishwasher sounded like a helicopter landing. We decided to get new appliances so I done some research and figured it out. You had to go by decibels to get a quiet dishwasher. My LG dishwasher is amazing. You can’t even tell that it’s on. It is so quiet.I love it.

Not so good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have to reset the breaker to get the dishwasher powered back up. It is not tripping the breaker but needs power disconnected to turn on again. Plug is being the unit so not accessible. The Wi-Fi connection is lost and very difficult to reconnect since the ThinQ app has to be used and relogging into it does not work and trying to verify my account does not work. The top rack is rusted in several places and need replacing.

Buyer Beware

Just after a year, it began breaking. After 3 years and 2 repairs later, I took it to the landfill.

Terrible dish washer. Heater doesn't work, doesn't clean dishes well. Water spots every time.

It’s okay

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 4 years ago and the motor went out. Expected it to last longer. It does have a 10 year warranty so that is good since it is so expensive.
