Control board failures

The control board failed twice while it was covered by the full 1yr warranty. The third failure came 4 months after the full warranty expired. LG would not fix it.

Nightmare product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nightmare customer care, need a flashlight to read buttons on front, constantly just turns on when leaning on countertop. We 100% regret the purchase. Can get no help repair and parts very expensive and wait forever to get parts

lasted 20 months

this is the second LG model of this dishwasher I've bought. the first one lasted 4 years, the second didn't even last 2. There has been electrical control problems that cause it not to be responsive or will shut off during it's heat steam cycle.

The WORST CUSTOMER CARE, HORRIBLE DISHWASHER, GARBAGE WILL NOT HELP, PASS YOU AROUND FOR HOURS FIRWARDING YOU AROUND, THE MOST EXPENSIVE TO FIX, PARTS, LABOR, COMPLICATED, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER CARE OUT HERE. NEVER NEVER WILL WE EVEN LOOK AT LG PRODUCTS AGAIN. WE LOST $850.00 PLUS TAX, PLUS INSTALL ON THIS DISGUSTING COMPANY LG!!

ITS GARBAGE

LG makes it hard to get help. They throw you around the merry go round. This dishwasher is GARBAGE. It constantly turns on if you lean into you counter to even cook. It never shuts up. Leaves a horrid smell and water condensation. WE GOT BURNED BY LG. We recommend running from LG. Garbage Garbage ZERO CUSTOMER CARE when needed. We lost $850.00 on this PIECE OF GARBAGE!!!

Worse Dishwasher I have ever owned!

Worst dishwasher I’ve ever owned. When I called for help, I was told the only way to get it to dry dishes was to ‘run the hot water before starting the dishwasher’ and to try that a few times. I did exactly what they said. When it still didn’t work and I called back, I had four days left on my warranty — and they still refused to process a claim. Completely unacceptable experience.

Doesn’t work

Dishwasher has barely been used. It was in a recently purchased home where the kitchen was new. It worked well for 3 months and then the power button failed. The wiring to the unit has been checked and there’s no issue with it. Repairs would cost almost as much as a new dishwasher. I would not buy an LG appliance again.

had this thing 1 year and quit on me. parts to fix it are close to cost of purchasing a new one anyway. dont waste your money on this.

AVOID

My circuit board fried after 13 months. LG will not fix anything after 1 year. Get a different one

GREAT DISHWASHER - GREAT PRICE

quite, works well beautil appearance...what more could I ask for? Lowes price beat EVERYONE...YEA LOWES!!

Very disappointed in Lowe's

Bought and installed this dishwasher in mid-August, and it performed well for about six weeks, when it started throwing a code indicating a leak. Following LG's troubleshooting guidelines, I restarted the machine and it cleared the code for another week or so, when it returned. This time I called LG and they sent a service tech to inspect the dishwasher. He told me the leak, in the top corner of the tub, was clearly a result of damage in shipping or warehousing at Lowe's, and LG would not cover ...

does not have heated dry. they call it dynamic dry with 2 fans. does not work. very poor design. wish there was some way to exchange it for a model with HEATED DRY

worse dishwasher ever. doesn't clean, 3 row sucks.

I keep having to clean out the trap on the bottom. NEVER have I cleaned a dishwasher trap out in 40 years. doesn't clean the dishes, I'm rewashing items after they come out. took out the third row after first week it didn't clean the items on the top nor the first row because of it.

Perfect replacement

My fridgeaire dishwasher died on thanksgiving(2 years old, just after warranty ended too). This LG is so much better and not made of plastic. I highly recommend making sure your dishwasher doesn’t not have a plastic latch or drum.

Dosent dry

The dishwasher does not dry the dishes and the top rack gets stuck a lot
