Not sized right and do won't retract

I bought this because I wanted particular features of a solar shade; let light into my garage while protecting certain equipment from harmful UV rays. The blind wouldn't fit in my opening (an inside mount) even though I measured correctly. I've purchased custom blinds for multiple homes I've lived in and never had a problem with them not fitting. NIGHTMARE

Bought 3 blinds none them fit perfectly after they cut them , was at your store 3 days and a total of 6 hours trying to get it right poor customer service except for 1 person.

Had already been cut was a return .

Cut to Wrong Size

I had two of these shades cut to my measurements. Both were cut much too short. Lowes keeps no record of measurements, and when I took them back I was initially told they were non-returnable items due to the custom cuts. They eventually issued a refund, but I had to waste a second trip and wound up with no shades. Also, the white shades picked up a lot of dirt from the cutting station, which is not well-maintained. Same experience as the smaller size — clean lines, minimal look, and the room feels noticeably bigger. The fabric filters light nicely without blocking it completely, which was exactly what we wanted. Mounted inside the window frame for a cleaner appearance. Operation has been smooth and the overall quality feels solid. Would buy again for other rooms.

Clean, modern look — room feels bigger

We replaced curtains with this shade and the room immediately felt cleaner and more open. The light filtering fabric lets in plenty of daylight but reduces glare and adds privacy without making the space feel dark. We mounted it inside the window jamb and I’d recommend that if you have the depth. It gives a much more built-in, finished look compared to mounting outside the frame. Does not fit.

Shade was cut to size but it would not fit because the brackets were in the way. They effectively made the opening narrower after they were installed. I had to cut 1/4 inch off of the shade. Also, the shade would not close.
