great humidifier, bought 2nd unit

I've had one LV600HH for several months and just bought a second identical one for our cabin. I did research other units and considered a different one, but since I have no complaints about the first I decided to get a duplicate. I use distilled water and have no issues with white powder (that some reviews mention). Having the tank opening on the bottom doesn't bother me - I just immediately turn it bottom up to fill it. Cleaning it weekly is quite easy. Quiet and does its job well.

I literally used my unit twice and it stopped putting out mist.

Second purchase

Our second purchase. We use the first one in the bedroom. Much better than units with filters. Some startup issues with the second one. The humidity sensor slowly went to 90% and the unit did not run. As the unit came up to room temperature the reading slowly dropped, and it started working. Great for Plant Tents and Dry Rooms!

The Humidifier was purchased for my tent which is 4x4x6 for my many tropical plants. They need an environment with humidity of 70-80%. This allows it to stay humid and running for up to a week when run on automatic. I also use the second one in our bedroom. It's pretty dry in there but overall it stays a nice 55% now with this awesome machine!

Excellent!!

Great product that excels far beyond what I expected. Replaced my old cold humidifier with this one and will probably order another as the house is bigger than this one can handle. The warm feature is great!

problematic

While many room humidifiers allow you to set the humidistat to 25% or 30% RH. The humidistat on this unit only goes as low as 40% relative humidity, which here in the Denver area means it runs continually.

Perfect for Baby rooms!

Bought this for my 5 month old daughter for the winter months. Works great, easy to clean and the best part is you can turn the display off while it's running so I can keep it in her room at night the lights don't bother her. Very happy with my purchase.

Dry bedroom review

Works well. Takes a bit to get the room up to the desired humidity, but can hold it really well once it is there. The heat option makes the room feel warmer at night.

Extremely loud buzzing sound

I’ve had this unit for a year and it was great at first but recently it started making a horrible buzzing sound… and it’s super loud!

Can't Screw The Water Tank Lid On The Reservoir!

Worked fine last year. The plastic must have degraded as I can't get the water reservoir lid to screw on properly. Keeps getting cross threaded. Very frustrating. What a piece of junk.
