Great combination of an outlet with USB

Easy to install, just like a regular outlet. It is nice to be able to charge 2 devices without any adapters hanging off of the outlet. Durability yet to be seen since it was just installed last week, but it feels sturdy and of good quality. I'm sure I will purchase more as the the number of devices in the house grows. Great purchase, highly recommend.

Simple install, space saver

We all know how bulky the transformers for chargers are - you're lucky to get two plugged into standard two plug outlets. Now you can easily charge two usb devices and still have a plug for something else.

No more loose cords on the kitchen counter

I coupled this outlet with the phone cradle and now I'm able to keep two charging cords plugged in without having loose cords lying around. The only drawback was the outlet only has one connection for house wiring. This should only be installed by an experienced electrician.

It does the job, we use it to charge our iPad and iPhone.

Coolest Mom EVER!

I just purchased two of these to use in my kids' 'music room'. They play drums and guitar, and always need to use their iPod's and iPad's when they practice. I put one in the outlet nearest my sons drum set and one where my daughter practices her guitar & it has made practice time so much easier! They love the convenience of having charging right there, and no more devices dying in the middle of a lesson! And, it is the first thing they show their friends in the room...Love this product, and HAV...

This one actually works!

Seen different manufacturers supplying these and decided to try one out. My recommendation is to focus on the claims these products make. This one states 2.1AMPS which is critical if your charging iPads. There is another brand Lowe's offers that has 0.7AMPS which will not be a sufficient charge. They both install the same, but the Pass & Seymour product actually charges as it claims vs. the other brand. Great addition to the kitchen island!!!

I bought this after reading and researching many reviews on many similar products...and came to the conclusion this was the best bang for the buck!!! I bought this after getting frustrated that my laptop would only charge my devices while it was active, and wouldn't charge in "sleep" mode. This product does fit into a "newer" electrical box (house was remodeled in 2007). I installed this outlet into the existing 110V duplex box in our kitchen island. Excellent Product Overall

Excellent product overall! This product allows you to expand the capacity of a normal double outlet. Now, I can have two phones charging while freeing up the outlet for another purpose. Previously, I had to use an unsightly adapter to accomplish this purpose, and I also needed to have the phone electrical adapter attached to the USB in order to plug it in. Now, I don't need the wall adapter or the two phone USB adapters, so it is a much cleaner look. My only gripe... The product is too expensiv...

Almost eliminated the charger for some tools and gagets I use. I wish I had this long time ago.

This outlet is really great! Our household has many devices that charge by USB. It is so nice not to have those bulky adapters clogging up a normal outlet. You can charge your iPhone and iPad at the same time and still have an outlet open! Best. Wish they made one with 4 USB outlets.
